Salt Pond Beach Park

It's named after the natural salt ponds found in the area.

Salt Pond Beach is a golden sand pocket beach on Hawaii’s South Shore. It’s named after the natural salt ponds found in the area were salt is produced. It’s a good place for swimming all year round. People also come here to go snorkeling and surfing. Camping on the beach is also allowed provided that you get a permit first.

Salt Pond Beach is very accessible to the public and it’s located near the end of Lokokai Road. There are also public showers and restrooms on the shore here. And for the safety of everyone, there are lifeguards on duty everyday on this beach.
