Manini’owali Beach

Known for its fine white sand & beautiful clear turquoise water.

The Manini’owali Beach is one of the newest beach parks on the Kona Coast in the big island of Hawaii. This beach is easily accessible from Kailua Kona and the resorts on the Kohala Coast and is known for its fine white sand and beautiful clear turquoise water. It’s a great beach for swimming and snorkeling when the ocean is calm. Manini’owali beach also has a good amount of wave action during the winter which also makes it popular among surfers.

There are restrooms, drinking water fountains, and showers here, but the parking space available is limited. There are some picnic tables near the beach, but there is not a lot of shade available. There are also no shops or stores near the beach, so it’s advised that you bring everything you need like food, drinks, and sunscreen before you visit Manini’owali Beach.

Manini’owali Beach is right down the highway from Makalawena Beach so be sure to stop by there as well!
